Recognizing the value of a diverse workforce is critical for organizations that want to thrive in today’s business landscape. The talent recruitment and selection process must be updated or redesigned to align with an organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy. Those involved must examine their own understanding of DEI and explore how their own biases can negatively impact the process. By building awareness and learning how to consciously disrupt unconscious bias, it creates a level playing field for all candidates.

Inclusive Recruitment, Selection and Hiring provides the knowledge, skills and tools needed to build a more inclusive process.  Participants develop a common understanding of key concepts and definitions to create a foundation for learning. Then they explore the current state of recruitment and selection within their own organization. They examine their decision-making process and work with a model to help manage that process.

Participants will:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of DEI, and why it’s
  • Examine their current recruitment, selection and hiring process.
  • Identify ways to make their process more inclusive.
  • Recognize the potential impact of bias on recruitment, selection and hiring.

Build skills that focus on inclusive recruitment, selection and hiring of top talent. This is a highly interactive, facilitator-led learning experience. Participants engage in an environment that is safe and respectful by establishing affiliation between participants and creating an open and trusting learning space.
